Legend of Fuzen - Fuzen, the 8 tailed shadow demon, was originally a small animal...either cat or dog, which is constantly debated because of Fuzen's current attributes. Fuzen shifted from home to home, his family always dieing of 'accidents'. Rumor states their deaths were because of a curse put on early aged Fuzen, but that is just folklore and has no proof. Eventually the confused Fuzen ended up in the labroatory of the one and only Orochimaru. Orochimaru at the time had been testing the ability to create bijyuus. He had stored DNA of ALL known bijyuus at the time and tested them on defenseless creatures. After a few weeks of being there, Fuzen still had not been tested on yet. But, that day he was to be the prototype of the revolution of artificial bijyuus...DNA from all bijyuus were combined into a sticky serum and injected into Fuzen. Before the injection reached his blood system, some of it leaked out and splattered onto Fuzens shadow. The injection cause fuzen to fuze with his shadow and since being givin biyjuu DNA, he grew to an enourmous height and gained enourmous strength. That being said, Fuzen obviously went on a rampage of cold blooded fury on the labroatory and its workers. Unforutunatly for fuzen, the labroatory was on a deserted island, thus Fuzen was stuck on the island for many years, unknown to the rest of the world. As time passed, a small fishing boat came near the island gave Fuzen the oppurtunity to latch on to a fishermans shadow, which of course he did. The boat traveled to the snow village, at which point Fuzen unlatched himself from the fisherman's shadow and wreaked havic on the unsuspecting snow village. A year had passed after that and the battle between snow and shadow still remained. The council and kage of snow finally decided to seal the demon within a villager. They chose a just born baby, our current kage, Maikeru. Coincidently, Maikeru had just had his ritual of the angelic clan performed, which when sealing the demon within him caused the bloodline and demon to interact with each other. Maikeru's lunar angelic abilities being lunar, and Fuzen being full moon, they are said to "always be doing battle for control of the body". After maikeru passed the genin exams and had his second angelic ritual completed, it was soon realized that the ritual caused a loophole in the seal. The ritual caused his lunar angelic abilities to be released, and since it was strongest at the lunar eclipse, when the moon is gone, it is weakest at the full moon, when the moon is at 100%. This being said, during a full moon when his angel abilities were weakened, Fuzen was able to take control of his body and wreak havoc for one night each month. Eventually Maikeru developed a cage jutsu that could be used on himself that could prevent the beast from destroying the snow village.
